In Hello Neighbor 2 Alternative Reality, you play as a journalist called Quentin.

Your aim is to locate the whereabouts of three missing children, and find whoever took them. Your prime suspect is your own neighbor, Mr Peterson, who has gone into hiding after allegations were made that he was the one who kidnapped the children. Rumor has it that he locked them in his basement, but no one is brave enough to find out, except you.

Explore the open world of Raven Brooks, an eerie town where everyone has their secrets, and find those children.
